Many people hesitate to seek legal advice due to concerns about high costs for basic services and information. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has recognised this issue and now mandates all regulated law firms to provide transparent pricing on their websites.

Our Fees

At Cocks Lloyd Solicitors Ltd, we are fully regulated by the SRA and believe in transparent pricing. We aim to ensure our clients are confident that their final invoice will have no unexpected charges. While we charge fairly for our expertise, we also strive to keep client costs reasonable by offering fixed fees for specific services such as Conveyancing and Motoring Offences.

Fees

We offer fixed fees for some services depending on their complexity. For other cases, our solicitors charge the following hourly rates:

  • Partner/Member Solicitor: £265 + VAT per hour
  • Senior Solicitor or Head of Dept (PQE 8+ years): £240 + VAT per hour
  • Assistant Solicitor/Fee Earner (PQE 3-7 years): £215 + VAT per hour
  • Newly Qualified Fee Earner (PQE 1-3 years): £185 + VAT per hour
  • Paralegals/Trainees: £135 + VAT per hour
  • Support Paralegals: £115 + VAT per hour
