Ann Teresa Herbert is a highly experienced Legal Assistant and Secretary in our Private Family Department, bringing an impressive 44 years of dedicated service to her role. Throughout her long and varied career, Ann has developed a deep expertise in family law, becoming an invaluable asset to both her colleagues and clients.

Ann’s journey into family law was a natural progression rather than a deliberate choice. Before 1984, she had a broad focus, handling all aspects of conveyancing, including commercial transactions. However, following her return from maternity leave, she was assigned to the family department at her firm and found a deep connection with the work. Since then, she has devoted herself to this area, using her vast knowledge and experience to guide clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives.

In her role, Ann is pivotal in providing support not only to the fee earners but also to the entire family law team. Her dedication to client care is evident in her ability to put clients at ease during what can often be one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Ann’s calm and reassuring presence, combined with her extensive experience, allows her to help clients navigate their legal challenges with confidence and clarity.

I baught a residential property using cocks llyods as my conveyancer, the person looking after me was Sarah Payne, she was so amazing to work with, responded to my e-mails promptly and informed me of everything required before I had to do it, she also did some perfect work with the duedilligance making sure I got everything I wanted and more.I could not recommend her more she helped ture a stressful process into something that was quit agreeable, and I also had some help form the receptionists who helped make sure payments went through well and that I was doing things right.The price was also very competitive being well over £100 below a quote from one of there competitors.
