Bethany’s journey into private client law began during her time at university, where she discovered a passion for the field. She was drawn to the opportunity to help clients navigate sensitive issues, such as creating Wills or managing a loved one’s estate, which she finds both rewarding and encouraging. Her dedication to providing support during these significant life events has only grown as her knowledge and experience have developed.
Bethany’s role is diverse, encompassing every aspect of estate administration, from contacting financial institutions and estate agents to obtaining valuations and liaising with Executors and Trustees. She takes pride in building strong, personal relationships with clients while maintaining professionalism, which helps put them at ease during what can often be a stressful and overwhelming process.
What Bethany loves most about her job is the opportunity to assist clients in finding peace of mind. Whether ensuring the wishes of a Will are carried out or guiding clients through estate planning, she values the chance to make a positive difference. Helping clients secure their legacy or navigate the loss of a loved one is a privilege she takes seriously, and her empathetic approach ensures that clients feel supported every step of the way.
Bethany believes her attention to detail and adaptable communication skills set her apart. She ensures clients feel confident in the team’s ability to deliver a smooth, legal, and fair distribution of estates, updating them throughout the process. Her ability to empathise with clients while maintaining professionalism makes her a trusted advisor, particularly when dealing with the sensitive nature of Wills and probate work.
A highlight of Bethany’s career so far has been securing her first full-time position in a law firm, an achievement that marked the culmination of her hard work and determination. From that point on, she has grown significantly, both personally and professionally, as she continues to build her expertise and confidence in the legal field.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys attending seminars and events, such as those hosted by Solicitors for the Elderly, to expand her knowledge and engage with other legal professionals. She hopes to use her growing confidence and experience to represent the firm at future conferences and seminars.
