Tracey Bevan
Tracey Bevan is a highly experienced Secretary in our Litigation Department, bringing over 41 years of expertise to her role, including 33 years of dedicated service at Cocks Lloyd. Working part-time for three days a week, Tracey is the primary support for Matthew Blood, Head of Litigation and Partner, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Tracey’s role is pivotal in managing the liaison between Matthew and his clients. She is responsible for arranging appointments, explaining documents, and providing clear communication to ensure clients are well-informed and supported throughout their legal processes. Her extensive experience and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable asset in the often complex and demanding world of litigation.
In addition to her work with Matthew, Tracey occasionally provides support to Peter Tracy in the Litigation Department, showcasing her versatility and willingness to assist wherever needed. Her ability to manage multiple responsibilities with ease is a testament to her strong organisational skills and deep understanding of the legal environment.
Tracey’s career began after she obtained her Private Secretaries’ Certificate and spent four years working at Barclays Bank in Nuneaton. She then embarked on an international experience, working for solicitors Boase & Cohen in Hong Kong before returning to the UK, where she joined Cocks Lloyd. Her diverse background has given her a unique perspective and a broad set of skills that she brings to her current role.
What Tracey loves most about her job is the variety it offers and the opportunity to help clients navigate their legal matters. Her dedication to client service and her ability to handle a wide range of tasks make her an integral part of the Litigation team.
Outside of work, Tracey is an avid runner, having completed over 50 Park Runs. She also enjoys researching her family history, a passion that led her to compile a Family History Book. Additionally, Tracey has a creative side, spending time making miniature houses and indulging in her love of reading.
